Garfield’s Family Liaison, Carol Melim, recently planned two Community Coffees for parents in two of our neighborhoods. The focus was to connect with families and the main discussion topic was school communication. Everyone enjoyed using their phones to connect to our weekly newsletter and our SBTS, Brandon Tomnay, developed a QR code for families to use for a quick and easy way to connect with Garfield. Everyone enjoyed coffee and refreshments and community building along with meeting with school administrators and staff.
